What house cleaning costs in Crown Point and Winfield

Crown Point is about 22 miles from Valparaiso, and the drive is already inside these figures. You will not see a separate trip charge on the quote or the invoice.

What it costs by size

Every two weeks, in Crown Point:

• 2 bed, 1 bath, about 1,100 sq ft: around $210
• 3 bed, 2 bath, about 1,800 sq ft: around $280
• 4 bed, 2.5 bath, about 2,900 sq ft: around $350
• 5 bed, 3.5 bath, about 3,600 sq ft: priced after I see photos

Why Winfield is a little higher

Winfield is nearly all newer construction with open floor plans, and an open plan is more floor and longer sight lines, so a streak on the island shows from the front door. That home takes longer to do right. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom example is about $305 every two weeks in Winfield and about $585 for the first deep clean.

The first visit

A first clean undoes however long it has been: trim by hand, grout, vents, blinds, under and behind. In Crown Point the 1,800 square foot home is about $545 for that visit, or $495 when it opens a regular schedule. After it, the home stays on the regular price.

The older squares downtown

The century homes around the courthouse square have radiators, original woodwork and plaster that do not forgive harsh products or a soaking mop. I clean them with gentler products and more patience, and the price is the same as anywhere else in town.

What the price covers

One person who learns your home, rather than whoever is on the schedule that day. A written standard so nothing depends on my mood, a note after every visit, and a free return trip if something was missed and you tell me within a day. Insured to $1 million, with the certificate sent before the first visit.
