Privacy policy

Golds Cleaning is a residential cleaning company in Valparaiso, Indiana, operating as a division of Golds Custom Services, Inc. This page says what we collect, why, and who else sees it. If anything here is unclear, ask. The address and phone number are at the bottom.

What we collect

Only what is needed to quote your home and clean it: your name, email address, phone number, the address of the home, and the details you give about it, such as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and anything you want us to know about access, pets or how you like things done. If you pay by card, the card is handled by Stripe and we never see or store the number.

What we use it for

Quoting your home, scheduling and carrying out visits, telling you what happened at each one, invoicing, and answering you when you get in touch. That is the whole list. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell anything to anybody.

Text messages

If you tick the box on the booking form, we will text you about your own visits: confirmations, reminders, changes to a date, the invoice after a visit, and receipts. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How often depends on your visits, and for most customers that is a handful of messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can get help by replying HELP or calling (219) 500-6794.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Who else sees your information

Only the companies that make the service work, and only the part each one needs: Stripe for card payments, Twilio for calls and texts, Resend for email, Google for the calendar and the business email, and Railway which hosts the site. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own marketing, and none of them are sold your details. Beyond that, we share information only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a customer, and afterwards for as long as the records are needed for tax and accounting. Ask us to delete what is not legally required to be kept and we will.

Cookies

The site keeps a small identifier in your browser so a quote you started is still there if you come back, and records how you first arrived, such as from a search or a postcard, so we know what is working. No advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, stop texts by replying STOP, and stop emails by telling us. None of these require a reason and none of them affect your service.

Children

This is a service for homeowners and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
