These are the terms for using this website and for the text messages we send. The terms for the cleaning itself are in the service agreement you sign before any work starts, and that agreement is what governs the work.

Text messages

What the programme is. Golds Cleaning sends text messages to customers about their own visits: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, changes to a scheduled date, the invoice after a visit, and payment receipts. It is a customer care programme. We do not send marketing or promotional texts on it.

How you join. By ticking the box on the booking form at goldscleaning.com/start. The box is unchecked by default and ticking it is not required to book or to receive service. It reads: "Text me about my visits. I agree to receive text messages from Golds Cleaning (confirmations, scheduling, and reminders) at the number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time."

How often. It depends on your visits. Most customers get a handful of messages a month and never more than a few in a week.

What it costs. Nothing from us. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and they stop. You will get one confirmation that they have stopped, and nothing after that. Reply START to begin again.

Your number. Your mobile number and your consent are never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing. See the privacy policy.

Quotes and prices

A price given on this site is based on what you tell us about the home. If the home turns out to be materially different from that, we tell you before we start rather than after we finish, and you decide. Nothing is charged until the work is done, unless a deposit was agreed in writing in advance.
